About PCB Canvas
PCB Canvas is made by Vojtěch Krejčík, a solo developer in Czechia who designs keyboards and small electronics and wanted to do it on an iPad.
The app is written in Odin, with its own renderer on Metal, so it starts fast and stays smooth on large boards. It reads KiCad libraries instead of inventing a new part format, and it targets JLCPCB so a hobby board can go from idea to order in an evening.

- The bundled library is a curated subset of the KiCad libraries (CC BY-SA 4.0 with the KiCad library exception), plus keyboard switch footprints from kiswitch (MIT).
- The Inter typeface by Rasmus Andersson is used in the app and on this site under the SIL Open Font License.
- The interface takes inspiration from Shapr3D.
